Ed Doolan, a veteran broadcaster passes away, aged 76

 

Veteran BBC West Midlands Broadcaster and MBE, Ed Doolan has died aged 76.

The radio presenter who was inducted into the Radio Academy Hall of fame in 2004, was suffering from vascular dementia.

Originally born in Austrailia, his career in broadcasting in Cologne with the German World Service before joining BBC Radio WM in 1982.
